Ottawa Black Bears Official Website is Live

Ottawablackbears.com, the NLL’s Ottawa Black Bears’ official website, is now LIVE

Tickets for the 2023-24 season are now available to the public

OTTAWA – The Ottawa Black Bears announced today the formal launch of ottawablackbears.com, the official website of the Ottawa-Gatineau’s National Lacrosse League’s (NLL) franchise. The website will be home to everything Black Bears, including season and individual tickets, which are now available to the public.

The Black Bears wrapped up their final season as the New York Riptide with their last game at Nassau Coliseum on April 20. Jeff Teat comes to Ottawa having led the entire NLL in scoring in 2023-24, collecting a career-high 58 goals in 18 games.

“The Ottawa Black Bears organization is thrilled that our website is live, and that tickets are on sale,” said Ottawa Black Bears vice-president of business operations Chelsea McDermott. “This is the first many steps in integrating ourselves into the Ottawa-Gatineau sports landscape and we are looking forward to bringing an entertaining and competitive product to this community.”

In addition to the new website and tickets going on sale, the Black Bears announced the winner of the team’s slogan contest, where fans had the opportunity to submit and vote upon the first ever slogan that will appear in branding, website and social media.

The winning submission #BearWitness was clearly a fan favourite; acting as a rallying cry for the city to stand up and embrace the next era of lacrosse in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. There were six fans who submitted the slogan and the Black Bears were thrilled to award each of them with season tickets.
