Black Bears Sign Two More 2024 Draft Picks

Ottawa Black Bears General Manager Rich Lisk stayed busy following the 2024 NLL Entry Draft, signing second round pick (24th overall) Dustyn Birkhof and fourth round pick (58th overall) Neal Adamson to two-year contracts. With these signings, the Black Bears have officially signed all five draft picks to two-year contracts.

Birkhof, a defender, played 13 games with the Cobourg Kodiaks of Major Series Lacrosse in the Summer of 2024, tallying two goals.

Adamson, who also plays defence, spent the last three seasons with the Brampton Excelsiors of the OJLL. Last season, Adamson suited up for 23 games and recorded a goal and four assists for five points on the year.

Both players are expected to join the Black Bears for training camp in November.
