Rich Lisk

Rich Lisk is an accomplished sports executive with over 30 years of experience in team operations, marketing, and business development. As General Manager of the Ottawa Black Bears, Rich brings a wealth of expertise in building successful sports franchises, growing revenue, and strengthening brand identity.

In addition to being the GM of the Ottawa Black Bears, Rich serves as Executive Vice President at GF Sports, LLC, where he leads strategic initiatives across sports marketing and event management. Prior to joining GF Sports, Rich had his own sports marketing firm, Small Change Marketing Group (SCMG). SCMG is a full-service firm specializing in sports and entertainment marketing. Through his firm, Rich has helped numerous teams and brands develop effective marketing strategies, secure sponsorships, and drive ticket sales.

Rich’s career includes significant roles in both professional and junior sports. He was the General Manager of the Philadelphia Soul, where his leadership helped the team win the 2007 Arena Bowl XXII Championship. Under his direction, the Soul saw a 108% increase in revenue over expenses, achieved a 14% growth in operating revenue, and set franchise records in merchandise and sponsorship sales. His efforts earned him the AFL Commissioner’s Award in 2007 and solidified his reputation as a top-tier sports executive.

Earlier, Rich worked as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for ECHL, Inc., and as a regional scout for the Niagara IceDogs, further refining his ability to identify talent and generate revenue streams.
