Here at the Ottawa Black Bears, we believe game day should be exciting, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone. Our arena is a place where families, friends, players, staff and fans come together to celebrate the sport we love and the community we represent.
We ask all fans to help us create an environment built on respect, inclusion and positive energy.
We expect all guests to treat fellow fans, players, officials, team members and arena staff with courtesy and dignity at all times. Our staff work hard to deliver an outstanding game-day experience, and they deserve to do so in an atmosphere free from hostility, harassment, or intimidation.
Violent, aggressive, or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated. This includes physical altercations, attempts to intimidate others, or any conduct that compromises the safety of our venue. Abusive, obscene, or profane language directed toward staff, officials, players, or other fans is also not acceptable. Discrimination or harassment of any kind has no place in our arena.
We also ask fans to act responsibly throughout the event. Guests are expected to follow all arena policies and comply with instructions from event staff and security. Behaviour that disrupts the experience of others, including excessive intoxication or disorderly conduct, may result in removal from the venue.
Failure to follow this Fan Code of Conduct may lead to disciplinary action, which can include a warning, ejection without refund, suspension of ticket privileges, or involvement of law enforcement when necessary.
Our commitment is simple: to provide a safe, inclusive and respectful environment where everyone feels welcome. By attending a Black Bears game, you agree to uphold these standards and play a role in shaping the culture of our community.
Cheer loud. Support proudly. Respect always.
